2015 Fall Release - 2013 Pinots, Defying the Drought

We are delighted to present our new Pinot Noir wines from the sensational 2013 vintage.  Throughout the driest calendar year in California’s history, we worked closely with our grower partners to produce extraordinary fruit in 2013. These Pinots are full of personality and very distinctive from each other, results of our maturing winemaking and experience with the vineyards.  You’ll find these wines to be quite poised at this young age, yet structured to gain complexity with more time in the cellar.

Our 2013 Cabernet Franc is another wonderful expression of this varietal, striking a nice balance between fruit and minerality that comes alive when paired with bistro fare.

Our 2014 Rosé of Cabernet Franc and 2013 Vermentino remain available, and are great companions for seafood and holiday celebrations.

2013 Borderline, Marin County - Now widely recognized as one of the definitive pinot noirs from Marin County.

2013 Sonoma Coast - Four vineyards contributed to this blend, and it’s one of the best we’ve ever made.

2013 Foray, Russian River Valley - Sourced from a beautiful vineyard in the Green Valley sub-appellation of the Russian River Valley AVA.

2013 Michaud Vineyard - If you believe that grapes need to suffer to achieve greatness, here’s proof.

2013 Silver Pines Vineyard - Depth and breadth, approachable now but built for aging.

2013 Alegría Vineyard Cabernet Franc  - Minerality like the 2010, fruit like the 2012.  Practice makes perfect.

2014 Rosé of Cabernet Franc - Our first ever rosé of Cabernet Franc captures the essence of raspberries and cut watermelon.

2014 Vermentino - The amazing disappearing white wine can now be yours...until you open it and it vanishes!
